I had forgotten about this project that Illumination founder Dr. Mehmet Yildiz, has asked us to showcase our top ten stories. Here is mine.

As the mother of black boys living in America, I worry and pray, along with millions of other mothers. I am tired of watching the news and another black man is been murdered. Our world needs to stop feeding Racism.

Many of us have a bad life, but we managed to live a good one making the right choices and decisions, despite the pain, sorrow, and hatred that others have dished out to us. Sometimes, it the ones who are supposed to love and protect us. If you love your life and what you have become, continue doing the right things.

I wrote this piece because of some of the best things I learned in my life, I learned from children.

Some of us are examples and others are lessons. Every human on this planet serves a purpose. You have the power to choose your purpose.

When humans think they are winning, they will never stop doing what aids in their victory, right or wrong. Find the wisdom in your words, then use it wisely. Use your power of words like a tool, not a weapon.
